About Stacey Bramhall
Stacey’s photography has appeared in such places as The Guardian, TIME, Details, Marie Claire, MTV, Cosmopolitan, New York Daily News, and Vox. Stacey also helped build and launch the Somos stock photography brand in partnership with Steve Hix and later as a joint venture with Corbis Images.
In addition to her photography career, Stacey is also a designer. She designs mobile apps for Thinx, an app development studio she co-founded with her husband. Their app Cassini HD reached the top 25 paid education apps in the iTunes App Store and has averaged 5-star ratings from users. It has been written about and promoted by Brain Pickings, TUAW, It's Okay To Be Smart, Carl Zimmer, and Ed Yong, among others. Stacey's interest in the collision of art and curiosity led to the creation of the StaceyThinx blog, which was featured in Tumblr's 2014 year in review and reblogged and linked to by such top sites as Laughing Squid, NPR, My Modern Met, Wired, and This is Colossal.
She has also done design work for many political organizations and candidates, including President Joe Biden, NY State Senators Robert Jackson and Jessica Ramos, the Creative Resistance, and No IDC NY.
Stacey and her husband live in New York City.
